The network began life back in London in 1972 as Simmonds
Warner. It grew quickly, expanding the scope of its
operation into the rest of Europe. In 1976, it began
operations in Latin America as Choice Air Courier.
It was the first complete courier network in Latin
America. In 1984, these diverse enterprises were organized
into a single worldwide network, called the SkyCourier
Network. Today the network operates under the SkyNet
name.
